Statement of Privacy / Data Protection

The companies of the neuromotion group (neuromotion BV, eemagine Medical Imaging Solutions GmbH, ANT Neuro BV, ANT Neuro UK Ltd, ANT Benelux BV, ANT Neuro GmbH and ANT International BV, hereinafter referred to as "neuromotion") are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of your data. This Statement informs you on how neuromotion handles your data after it is collected on neuromotion websites and how this data is processed. Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified.

We also want to explain how you can influence the collection and use of your personal information. If you pass personal data on to us, you can always rely on this information being used exclusively to maintain your business relationship with neuromotion, or in one of the ways set out in this Statement.


General Statement
Our webpages use SSL- or TLS encryption to secure and protect the transfer of confidential information such as orders or inquiries that you send to us through our website . Encrypted pages start with https:// in the address, and you can recognize this by the lock symbol in front of the page address in your browser. The data you send us can not be viewed by anyone other than you or us when the encrypted connection is activated.

Nevertheless, we point out that when communicating over the internet (for instance when using E-Mail), your data security can be compromised. A guaranteed protection against access to data by others is never possible.


1 Collection, use and processing of data

1.1 Information on the use of all websites
When you visit any neuromotion website, the information transmitted by your Internet provider, such as the domains from which you are accessing the neuromotion websites, your IP address, the operating system, date and time, browser type, language and configurations, hyperlinks followed within neuromotion websites and your movements on these websites, is collected automatically and as standard in order to enable the technical operation of the websites. neuromotion uses the above-mentioned data for the purpose of analyzing your use of the websites:

  •         to better understand how you use these websites,

  •         to provide you with content and offers that may be of interest to you, and

  •         to improve its own products and services.


1.2 Exclusive use of the publicly accessible area
You can visit the publicly accessible neuromotion websites without revealing any personal data. For statistical purposes, the information listed in 1.1 is analyzed in a manner that does not allow neuromotion to identify you as an individual. The information is analyzed at an aggregate level and only used to help neuromotion understand trends and patterns and improve its websites. Additional data is only collected if you explicitly and voluntarily provide this information on neuromotion websites (e.g. when signing up for a newsletter or completing a form). 


1.3 Use and processing
neuromotion (and, where appropriate, its service providers) will only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes or for as long as we have to in order to fulfill our statutory obligations. Your data will be used exclusively for the business relationship we have with you. neuromotion will provide its service providers only with such data as they need to perform their services. If your consent is required for the use of the data for purposes other than those set out above, the data will only be used with your prior consent.


1.4 Information on, change and deletion of data
You have the right to obtain from us information on the personal data that you have on record for you through our website, and you have the right to at any moment request us to correct or delete these data insofar as the we are not legally required to maintain them on record. Insofar as your consent is the legal basis for processing your personal data, you have the right to revoke the consent you have given us. Further, you have the right to object to the continued processing of this data.  The legal basis for any processing performed until you revoke your consent remains unaffected. To do so, simply send an email to privacy@ant-neuro.com.

You have the right to file a complaint with the responsible authorities.


2 Cookies
neuromotion uses various technologies to collect information when its websites are used, in particular cookies. A cookie is an element of data that a website can be stored on your computer system, and that does not harm your device. They are stored on your device temporarily for the duration of a visit of our website (session-cookies) or permanently (permanent cookie). Session-cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies stay on your device until you delete them manually or they are deleted by your webbrowser.

For the operation of the websites, neuromotion uses cookies, which serve to maintain the fundamental functions and to operate the website, but do not contain any personal information. These cookies are stored for our justified interest of ensuring a technical failure free operation and optimal availability and operation of our website. 

Cookies from third-parties can also be stored on your device when you visit our website (Third-party cookies). These cookies allow us or you to use certain services from third-parties (for instance cookies to process a payment service). Other cookies allow us to analyze visitor behavior on our website.  The cookies are not merged with any of the personal data you have made available. You can set your browser not to accept cookies. 

We will inform you explicitly in this privacy policy if cookies from third-parties are stored, or when cookies are used for analysis purposes, and if need will obtain your consent. 

You can configure your browser such, that you are informed about any cookies being stored or even to not accept any cookies at all. Please note that certain functions on our website may no longer be available if you do not allow cookies to be saved.


3 Collection of Personal Data

3.1 Inquiry through our contact forms
When you submit an inquiry through our contact forms, we will store the data from the contact form, including the indicated contact data to process the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The data is stored on the basis of your consent, for the purpose of completing a contract, or on the basis of our justified interest to provide effective follow-up to inquiries addressed to us.

The data that you send us through the contact form are stored with us, until you request us to delete them, you revoke your consent for storing these data, or the lawful basis for storing the data ceases to exist. Mandatory statutory regulations – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

In various countries we work with distribution partners. We may forward your inquiry to the responsible distribution partner to ensure a satisfactory response to your inquiry. In case you indicate in your inquiry that you object to this, we will ensure that your inquiry will not be forwarded.


3.2 Inquiries per email, phone, or fax
When you contact us per email, phone, or fax, your inquiry including all personal data coming from the inquiry (for instance name and phone number) will be stored with us to ensure we can process your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The data is stored on the basis of your consent, for the purpose of completing a contract, or on the basis of our justified interest to provide effective follow-up to inquiries addressed to us.

3.2 Use of our webshop
If you wish to purchase products via our web shop, it is required that you provide your personal data that we require to process your order and for completion of the contract. The fields that are mandatory for are marked accordingly and further data is provided voluntarily. The information you provide will be used for processing of order. For the processing of payments, we must pass on the relevant data to the authorized banking institution. 

You may voluntarily create an account to enable us to store your personal data for further purchase. By creating an account, your data will be stored on a revocable basis. 

We are obligated by commercial and tax requirements to store your address, order and payment details for a period of ten years.

Besides the comment itself, the comment functionality on our websites will store information such as time of submission and your username. The comment and the connected data are stored and stay on our website, until the commented content is completely deleted or the comment itself is deleted. Using the comment functionality is voluntarily and based on your consent, which you can revoke at any time by means of a simple email.


4 Disclosure of data to service providers
The personal data that has been received from you and saved will not be sold by neuromotion to third parties.

It may, however, be necessary to disclose your personal data to neuromotion partners for business purposes, so that they can provide services for neuromotion. This includes, for example, answering your questions on products or services, processing registrations for events, and handling orders. All service providers are obliged to adhere to the applicable neuromotion data protection provisions. neuromotion has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as using encryption for data transmission, in order to keep your data secure, current and complete and to protect it from unauthorized access by third parties.


4.1 External Hosting
This website is hosted with an external service provider (hereafter called “Host”). The personal data that are being captured on this website are stored on the servers of the Host. This could for instance be IP-addresses, inquiries, Meta- and protocol data, contract data, contact data, names, website access and other data, that is generated through the website.

The use of the Host is pursuant the purpose of the completion of the contract towards our future and existing customers and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient delivery of our online website and service through a professional supplier.

Our Host will only process your data to the extend as required by his contractual obligations and is bound to follow our instructions pertaining to the use of these data. To ensure compliancy with privacy regulation and our data privacy policy, we have signed a contract with the Host in regard to the processing of this data.


4.2 eCommerce and payment providers
We transmit personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the completion of the contract, for instance to the company entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the company that we commission to complete the payment. We do not share data other than those necessary to fulfill the contract terms. Processing your data to fulfill the terms of the contract or to perform precontractual measures is permitted.

We work with the following payment service providers in our webshops.


Mollie
On our webshop we provide the option to pay using Mollie’s platform (paymentforms: Credit card, iDeal, Klarna, Sofortüberweisung, Bancontact, eps, Giropay, Przelewy24). Provider of this payment service is Adyen NV, Simon Carmiggeltstraat 6-50, 1011 DJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands (here “Mollie”).

When you choose to pay via Mollie’s platform, we will forward your data to their websites to execute your payment there.

The transmission of your data to Mollie is based on your consent and the purpose of completion of a contract. 


PayPal
On our webshop we provide the option to pay using Paypal’s platform. Provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (here “Paypal).

When you choose to pay via Adyen’s platform, we will forward your data to their websites to execute your payment there.

The transmission of your data to Paypal is based on your consent and the purpose of completion of a contract. 


5 Creation of user profiles
In order to optimize the neuromotion websites and adapt the design to customer needs, pseudonymized user data is collected, saved at aggregate level and used to create user profiles based on pseudonyms. neuromotion uses the following tracking and analysis technologies made available by third-party providers. All of these technologies use cookies. 

The third-party providers use this information on behalf of neuromotion to anonymously analyze how you use the neuromotion websites, to compile reports on your activities on the websites and to offer additional services to neuromotion relating to website use. This involves recording and analyzing your visits to these neuromotion websites. neuromotion also records which functions you used on the websites and how you used them.

The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with the technologies set out below is not merged with other data from the following third-party providers. The data collected by the third-party providers is collected in a pseudonymized user. 


Google Analytics
Our website uses the functions of Google Analytics, to gather information relating to the use of our websites. Provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The information collected in relation with the use of our websites are used, to create reports on the usage of our website. The information created by the cookies placed by Google Analytics are generally sent to a Google server in the USA and are stored there. You can prevent the collection of the data pertaining to your use of our websites that is generated through the Google Analytics cookie by downloading and installing the browser plugin that is available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout


Google Ads and Google Conversion-Tracking
Our websites use Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising system from is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. More specifically, we use the function to track conversion. When you click on an advertisement from Google, a cookie will be placed for tracking conversion. These cookies will expire after 30 days and are not intended to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages in our website, and the cookie has not expired, both Google and us will know that the user clicked on the advertising and was direct to our website. neuromotion does not receive any information that allow us to personally identify you. If you do not wish to participate in this tracking, you can reject by not allowing your browser to store the Google Conversion-Tracking cookie in the user settings.

The information created by the cookies placed by Google Analytics are generally sent to a Google server in the USA and are stored there. Google's privacy policy is available at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy


6 Newsletter
You can subscribe to various newsletters at several locations on the neuromotion websites. To register, we only need your email address; any further data that you provide is voluntary. You will only receive these newsletters if you have given your explicit consent. 

In some newsletters, we use web beacons to analyze how effective the newsletters are. This analysis can be combined with your personal data. We use the technology offered by MailChimp by The Rocket Science Group to maintain your subscription. You can find their privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ .

You can, of course, unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. In order to do so, use the unsubscribe link in the email. After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter, your email address will be stored on a blacklist with the service provider, to ensure you receive no further emails. Your data is stored in the blacklist without time restriction. You can object to your data being stored in the blacklist by sending a simple email.


7 Links to third-party websites
The neuromotion websites may contain links to other websites. If you follow these links, you will leave the neuromotion websites and also the scope of validity of this Statement of Privacy, which does not cover such other websites. neuromotion cannot assume any responsibility whatsoever, neither for the privacy policy nor the content of these other websites.


8 Amendments to the Statement of privacy
neuromotion reserves the right to change this Statement at any time. We would therefore ask that you check the Statement of privacy at regular intervals. In the case of major changes or amendments, you will be informed here or in a notice posted on our homepage.
